Opi's story

I adopted Opi from DCH in 2010, he was a little furry kitten with different coloured eyes and so placid, he allowed himself to be carried all around Windsor shops being pat by everyone we came across and he is still that placid boy but a lot bigger, his favourite things in the world are eating and sleeping although at times he gets a burst of energy and tears around the house knocking down everything in sight:) The whole experience was so positive that I have been a DCH carer myself taking in cats and kittens for quite a few years and have found it so rewarding, I still cry bucket loads of tears saying goodbye to my charges but take in heart in knowing they have their forever homes and will be loved. If you have ever considered being a foster carer don't delay it will be one of the most amazing rides of your life.
