Gertie's story
Back in 2011 we adopted an older dog (Gertie) through DCH. She’d come from Windsor pound
Gert’s now 13, and after the cruel start life gave her, has mellowed into a beautiful old girl. She’s very grey and cloudy eyed, but her coat is still a magnificent shiny black.
Drop the tailgate of the ute down and she’s still got spring enough to jump on board.
ANZAC Day marks her 8th year with us.
Happy Days.
