Meet Bindi
Bindi is an extraordinary dog and you can read about her adventure before coming to DCH on her GoFundMe - https://gofund.me/9a8f5b99
Bindi is the best dog in the world for the right person. She walks beautifully on leash, doesn't ever fuss when I dremel her nails, loves to go for car rides and basically just wants to be with you all the time.
If you do have to pop out she settles quickly and doesn't bark.
Please DO NOT apply to adopt Bindi if you do not have time to spend with her each day.
I am hoping Bindi will find a home with someone retired or who works from home and can spend a lot of time with her, because that's what she wants. She is an extremely loving dog, probably not suitable for a home with cats as she wants to chase them despite being about 12 years old. She can be introduced to other dogs, but do so slowly as it is likely that other dogs have not always been kind to her while she was homeless.
Bindi is quite the local celebrity in my neighbourhood - all the neighbours love her, and she loves everyone, including kids.
Bindi is being offered as a "palliative care" dog, but she sure doesn't know that. She has some residual lumps around her nipples that may be cancer, but she is bright and happy, alert, and so affectionate. It is impossible to estimate how much time Bindi has left - but it could be years. She is showing all the signs of being a very happy little girl who just wants to be part of your family for a long time to come.
I am feeding her SPD100 and a variety of supplements and she is really thriving on this. A good diet is her best chance of a happy and healthy life from here on, and if feeding her the SPD100 RAW it will likely cost you around $65 per week for food and a bit extra for treats or supplements.
If you would like to meet Bindi, please call or send me an email. She really is that one in a million dog you've been waiting for.
