Meet Buddy

'Twas the night before Christmas when I was born. Hi All, I'm Buddy but I will hand you over to my Foster Carer as I'm a shy boy... Buddy was surrendered to DCH due to his owner no longer being able to care for him. He previously lived in an apartment, is quiet and doesn't bark unless he is concerned about something. Buddy is very healthy for his age and has clearly been loved his entire life.

Buddy is fully house-trained, walks well on lead and is submissive to other dogs on walks. He likes off leash walks. Buddy likes to lay within seeing distance to his humans. We are waiting for him to be comfortable enough to want to be a lap dog to us. Buddy lights up when he hears squeaky toys and likes a good game of fetch.

He has a good appetite and sleeps well at night.

Buddy would suit an older person if someone just wants company.

If you like the shy types, then Buddy could be the one for you. If you would like to meet him, please apply by email to his foster carer so we can arrange a meet and greet.

Buddy has been in foster care since 24 May 2026, for 2 weeks
