Meet Colonel Sanders

Meet Colonel Sanders! I may be the quiet one of the bunch, but don’t mistake that for shyness, I simply prefer the good life, snoozing in the fluffiest bed I can claim or watching the world go by from a cosy spot.

My siblings and I were found outside a vet clinic in the cold, but those days are behind us. Now I’m looking for a loving home where I can hang my hat, stretch out for long afternoon naps and enjoy life’s comforts.

I have an unusual, swinging gait in my back legs. X-rays and a trial of pain relief didn’t explain or change it, and I don’t seem uncomfortable. I’m also very curious and chew all sorts of things, so I’ll need a cat-proofed home, especially around electrical cords. I can dart about unexpectedly and may make a dash for open doors. I’m quite talkative, though my expressions can be hard to read.

A calm home without young children would suit me best. My compatibility with other pets is unknown. I’m vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and desexed. If you’re looking for a calm, gentle companion and can offer me a cosy, safe home, we could make a mighty fine pair!
