Bliss

Bliss

Domestic Medium Hair - female - 1 year and 7 months

Bliss by name, and bliss by nature. What a delight this young lady has been!

Not only did she raise her litter of 5 kittens, but she took on an orphan kitten to bring her litter to 6. And then when they were almost weaned, took on another litter of 5 grey kittens. Absolute super-star mum!!

Very friendly girl who enjoys being near you, getting pats and cuddles, doesn't mind being picked up and snuggles up to you on the bed. She is very mellow and relaxed. Sometimes meowing at you for attention.

Bliss came into care very, very thin, and while she isn't a big eater, she is now at a healthy weight and enjoys a mix of wet and dry food.

As she has medium length fur she will need to be regularly brushed. She isn't a huge fan, but a few brushes once or twice a week should be enough to keep the matts out of her tail and fur. As she is an indoor only cat, this routine is manageable.

Bliss is a very easy-going cat. While she has been fiercely protective of all of her kittens from the household dog with lots of hisses and swipes, she has never scratched or hurt anyone, and will happily snooze and cohabitate near the dog and watch the kittens play with her.
For this reason I would say she would suit a home with existing pets. She will likely take up the prime sleeping position on the bed though!

Bliss has weaned all of her kittens and has now been desexed. Enjoying days spent snoozing by the window-sill and coming up for chin scratches and pats.

She has been a delight to foster and I am thankful for her efforts in helping raise 11 kittens. She deserves a wonderful forever home with a family that will keep her safely indoors, and give her all the love and affection she deserves.

If you would like to apply to adopt her, please email us! She is based in Windsor, NSW and is ready to meet you.

Bliss has been in foster care since 06 January 2022, for 2 weeks

Audrey

Audrey

DSH - female - 3 months

Audrey has had a rough time of it since coming into DCH care, with a couple of health issues she had to battle but she is now a healthy and happy little kitten. While on the small side for her age, Audrey was still demanding to be bottle fed at 10+ weeks old, while her sister Bette gave up the bottle at 5 weeks. Audrey’s cheeky personality is starting to shine through, with mock ninja attacks occurring frequently and Audrey has a lovely fine and super soft coat.

Audrey has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all. While Audrey has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, /she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Audrey is ready for meet and greets now, and as she was desexed on the 13th January she will be ready for her new home around the 23rd January, Audrey has had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her parasite protection.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

You must be over 18yrs old and an Australian citizen or Permanent Resident to adopt an animal from DCH.

Audrey has been in foster care since 11 January 2022, for 1 weeks

Bette

Bette

DSH - female - 3 months

Bette came into care with her siblings Audrey and Bogart when they were about 2.5 weeks old, and from day 1 Bette was a fighter and the strongest kitten of the litter. While bigger than her sister Audrey, Bette is still on the small size for her age but this has not slowed her down from about 5 weeks when she gave up the bottle, and decided she was big enough to play with the big kittens – although she was half their size.

Bette has funny little facial markings, with an adorable black nose and one white ear and one black ear. Bette has been raised with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and she happily co-habits with them all.

While Bette has access outside via a cat run in her foster home, /she is looking for forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access).

Banka

Banka

Domestic Medium Hair - female - 3 months and 1 weeks

Banka is one of 5 kittens that came into care:
Baldo, Balin, Banka, Bardot and Button. Lovingly raised indoors by their mum, Bliss.
They are all adorable and have medium length fur - maybe there's some Maine Coon breed heritage in there!

Banka is a confident and sassy, friendly girl. She is very playful, and loves wrestling with her brothers and sisters.

As Banka has been raised indoors with other foster kittens, as well as the resident cat and large dog, we are looking for an INDOOR only home, that will be able to keep her safe (as well as the local wildlife safe!).
If you would like to be her forever family that can offer her the protection of growing up inside (or safety outside access via a cat run) we would love to hear from you!

Banka has been desexed, had her first kitten vaccination and is litter trained and will be up to date with her flea and worming. She knows how to use a scratching post and loves playing with her sisters and brothers, and is used to the large family dog at home.

As we receive a lot of enquiries for our kittens, please include relevant details about yourself and your home/other pets, to be considered.

If you are renting, please ensure that you have approval for a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.

The Fuzzinator

The Fuzzinator

DMH - male - 9 months and 1 weeks

Through no fault of his own, The Fuzzinator (Fuzzy) has been returned into DCH care after being adopted at just 9 weeks old, and he is once again looking for his forever home.

Fuzzy originally came into DCH care at the tender age of 4 weeks, with his siblings, as well as the resident cats, dogs and bunny and he happily lived with them all. As he has been an only cat in his adopted household for 6 months, he did get a little stressed being reintroduced to so many animals in foster care, but we believe with reduced numbers in his forever home Fuzzy will eventually acclimatise.

However, Fuzzy is very much a human's cat, he is very affectionate and doesn't mind sitting in your lap or being held for some on on one love.

At only 9 months old, Fuzzy is still very much a kitten, and like all kitten enjoys a play and nightime zoomies and is sure to bring some laughter and joy into his new families home.

Fuzzy is current on his vaccinations, parasite protection and has been desexed. While Fuzzy has had access outside into a cat run, he is looking for forever family that can offer him the protection of growing up and living a long life inside (or safe outside access).

Fuzzy is currently located at PetStock Rouse Hill, and he would be ecstatic to receive a visit and some love from a potential forever family.

The Fuzzinator has been in foster care since 18 January 2022, for 3 days
