Champers

Champers

DSH - male

Champers (short for Champagne) came into care on New Year's Eve with his 3 brothers following the death of their mother.Champers is an absolute sweetheart who has become a family favourite. He loves being cuddled and out of all his siblings, Champers is the snuggle pot. It's not uncommon for Champers to jump up on my bed during the night and snuggle into my neck before purring himself, and me, off to sleep.Although he is happy with his own company, Champers also plays happily with the other kittens/cats here. He's not overly fond of the dogs but has learnt to keep out of their way.Champers is a good eater and uses the litter tray.Because Champers is a such a friendly and affectionate kitten I believe he would be a wonderful addition to any household.

Oscar and Charli

Oscar and Charli

mixed breed - mixed

photos by ruthlessphotos.com

Oscar (30kg) and Charli (25kg) are just lovely dogs They are brother and sister and VERY bonded to each other. We would very much like to keep them together but will separate them providing neither end up as only dogs. They are obedience trained (SIT, COME, STAY, HEEL) and have good manners with food.

Sometimes they can be a little timid with new things but they quickly gain confidence when around calm people. For this reason we suggest they are better suited to older children

say 8 years and over.

They would be very suited to acreage or a large yard as they play together for hours. Having said that, they are well socialised and have mixed with dogs of all shapes and sizes in off-leash parks ever since they were puppies.

Oscar and Charli are located in the inner west of Sydney and a discount will be offered if they are adopted together.

Charli and her brother Oscar developed a gastro illness shortly after coming out of the pound. They were very ill and their smaller sibling didn't make it. Luckily Charli and Oscar proved to be fighters and they made a full recovery and are now doing well.

The vet bills for their time in hospital came to $1,337.50. If you can help sponsor some of these additional vet costs please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below.

Thank you to Roland, Andrew, Natalie, Haidee, Breeda, Ashleigh, Adam, Lainie, Nicole, Art, Georghios, Jenni and Alison for their generous donations. These vet fees have now been fully covered.

Zoe

Zoe

DMH - female

Thank you to S.Barnett for sponsoring Zoe's desexing costs

Zoe is a beautiful kitten who would take cuddles and affection all day if you had the time. She loves sleeping on my son's bed and in the afternoon you'll find her on his window sill catching the afternoon sun.Zoe is a quiet little kitten and seems quite content to just take life very easy. She is very good eater and is litter trained.Because Zoe is a medium hair kitten her coat, which is like fairy floss, does require a small amount of grooming which she thoroughly enjoys.Zoe does not like dogs or other cats but adores humans, whether they are adult or child, so I believe she would be best suited to being the only household pet.If you're looking for an affectionate kitten who's absolutely no bother, then you need to meet with Zoe. She really would be a great addition to any home.

Jacob

Jacob

Tri Collie Rough - male

Jacob is a gentle 8 year old tricolour. He is no trouble to have around the house, all he asks for is food to eat, a comfortable place to lie down and doze throughout the day and one or two short walks each day. He walks very well on the lead and when he is walking around our 2 ? acre property without the lead, he keeps one step behind his foster carer, letting us know he is well trained. When he came into care his coat was so matted it required cutting......it is now growing back and soon he will be the handsome boy he once was.Jacob would be best suited to someone who is home most of the day as he gets great re-assurance from knowing someone who loves him is nearby. He gets along well with Charlie, our 2 year old border collie who shows him new things to do and places to go. Jacob follows Charlie everywhere, so having another dog as a companion would be very good for Jacob. He only barks when a bark is needed, otherwise he requires little. Once he can trust his new owner they will be rewarded with his ongoing devotion.Jacob is being cared for in the Central Coast.

Jacob was adopted on 14 February 2011 after 2 months in foster care

Lockie

Lockie

Tri Collie Rough - male

Lochie is a 3 year old tri-colour Rough Collie. He has the most beautiful nature and just loves cuddles. He also loves his walks and playing with his family. He gets along well with other dogs and also loves children, however he is not sure about cats as he has never been introduced to one. Lochie is amazingly smart and has already picked up new commands such as sit, stay, bed and come, also he loves to shake hands, Locky would be most suited to a family with children as he would love to play and would look after them. Lochie comes to us a result of a marriage break up and he really wants to be part of a new family. A property inspection is required before Lochie can go to his new home

Lockie was adopted on 14 February 2011 after 2 months in foster care
