Fuzz

Fuzz

German Shepherd - female

Fuzz is a big dog with a big heart who has been left alone far too much in her 4 year life span and this makes her desperate for your attention, pats and cuddles which means she can be a bit enthusiastic when first greeting you. She was not trained sufficiently as a puppy but has been making some strides in the right direction since coming into care. She does know how to sit however stay and come are being worked on. She does know how to walk loose lead but needs to understand there can be more than one leader in her life. She gets very anxious when meeting other dogs while she is on lead, common sense is lost and she strains on lead. Fuzz is a healthy weight with a great long shaggy glamour coat. Introductions with other dogs would need to be very guided as her anxiety, size, and weight can intimidate other dogs. She needs ongoing training and socialisation with other dogs especially on lead and she will make a great family pet. She in currently in a foster home with 3 children the youngest being 7 and she is fine with them. Because little kids could easily be knocked over by accident by such a big dog, we would require her to go to a home with older children.

Fuzz was adopted on 18 September 2010 after 3 weeks in foster care

Koda

Koda

DSH - female

Koda is a sweet little girl, who loves to soak up your attention. She loves to sit in your lap while you're watching TV or talking on the phone. Koda tolerates other cats, but would much prefer to be the only feline member of the household. Koda also loves to play, and will chase toys for hours. She also likes to jump up to high places so she can watch what the other members of the household are up to. Chewy

Chewy

Thoroughbred gelding

Chewy is a very quiet horse with a lovely nature. He's a solid build, and is great to catch, shoe, worm and float. He's not phased by dogs, cattle, pigs, motorbikes etc. Chewy is best suited as a companion horse due to lameness in his coffin bone. He gets along well with other horses and is not visibly lame when relaxing in the paddock. He can be taken for quiet walks around the paddock but cannot be worked. While very friendly he does require a confident handler due to his size.

Chewy was adopted on 14 September 2010 after 6 days in foster care

Elizabeth is okay with other cats, but will remind them and her new owner that she is the most important feline member of the household. She loves curling up on the couch or the bed with her human friends and just loves being part of a family.
