Meet Valentine

Valentine is Desexed and fully Vaccinated (until March 2025) and very ready to find her Forever Home.
You and your family are very welcome to arrange a meeting to see if Val is your girl!

The Ginger Ninja's...Valentine and her sister Veronica came into DCH care from a rural property when they were scared, hungry 3-4 month old kittens, in 2023.

Veronica has now been adopted and, although Valentine did have a previous adoption & return, it was because she was not the best fit. It appears that Valentine would prefer a big house to explore, possibly with other animals and even safe outside access included!

Valentine is a very graceful and curious young lady who might be suited to an older family or to be company for another cat or cat-safe dog. Val is affectionate but not a lap cat, although she will sit and keep you company, and keep you entertained with her antics.

Valentine dislikes being carried around and picked up a lot and also being restrained. However, pats, chin scratches, crunchy treats, and of course a sunny windowsill are still her favorites! Flying insects will keep her occupied for hours, plus she does love a laser light - her hunting instincts are very strong!

The $160 adoption fee includes:

  • Microchipping,
  • Worming/flea-treatment,
  • Vaccination,
  • Desexing
  • So she lives her best and longest life, Valentine must also be an INDOOR ONLY cat (but of course this can include access to a secure outdoor catio or enclosure).

Please use the "Send enquiry email" link below, if you have any questions or if you are interested in meeting Valentine. Just include in your email, whether you’ve owned cats before, and why you’re genuinely interested in adopting Valentine.

PLEASE NOTE: I no longer receive phone calls/messages from unknown mobiles, but I will contact you as soon as I receive your email enquiry.

  • If you are renting, please ensure that you have written approval to keep a cat BEFORE you lodge interest.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen, over 18 years old, to adopt an animal, and, for a kitten, also be prepared to look after it for up to 20years! 😻
  • In the current economic climate, please also consider annual vet fees and future feeding costs before committing to adopt
