Animals in Care Needing Sponsorship

Buffin is a lovely girl that came into DCH needing extensive vet care for her breathing and skin. The total cost of these operations and treatments has come to $3600 so we are seeking sponsorship to help us cover these costs.

Lincoln is a sweet boy who has come very far since he has been in foster care.

He was found as a stray and was in very poor condition. Since being in care he has really grown in personality. He is a fantastic dog to have her own home he is house trained and crate trained, loves to play with squeaky toys and loves to play with dogs
He absolutely adores people and he’s extremely gentle around children.
He is currently doing rehab hydrotherapy one session a week, and it has helped strengthen his muscles so that he can increase his exercise.

Sponsorship Required
Due to his poor start to life and being so underweight Lincoln has had to have more vet attention than most to rule out any underlying conditions. He also required some baby teeth to be extracted. His vet fees have come to $1,007 and we are seeking sponsorship to cover some of these additional expenses.

This beautiful little girl was a naughty puppy and ate something she shouldn't have. A day after coming into care with her siblings it became apparent something wasn't right with her and a vet check and xrays revealed a foreign, suspected wooden, object stuck in her intestines.

She is going in for surgery to remove the object and hopefully there is no major internal damage. Lilly will hopefully be back with her foster carers after a few days at the vets.

Lilly's vet fees will be between $1,500-2,000. If you can assist with sponsoring any of her surgery fees that would be very appreciated.

Please don't overlook Buffy just because she is a run of the mill grey tabby ... she is divine in every way. Fabulous outgoing personality that would suit just about any household. she is cheeky , playful , affectionate and sooooo loving. I have had tradesman here and she has wanted to help (or get in the way) she really is a fantastic little girl.

Buffy has been in care with her brother Elliot and she has been raised with the 3 resident dogs who she just loves ... she has the utmost respect for the 3 resident cats.

Buffy loves food and is litter trained.

Buffy's adoption fee will cover her desexing when she is old enough. She has had her first vaccination and has been micro chipped , wormed and flea treated.

Honestly you can't go wrong with Buffy ...another kitty I would love to keep.

Rosie is a stunning Great Dane cross puppy who is just a bundle of love! She immediately settled right in with her current foster home, and can't get enough cuddles. She is currently living with many other foster dogs and gets along with all of them no problems!

Rosie will grow into a very large girl, she already has the feet to show she has a lot to grow into! Rosie will be vaccinated and microchipped soon, but will be desexed in a few months and then will be ready for her new home!

Please note that Rosie is not available for adoption for several weeks.

Poor Miss Rosie suffered a badly broken leg during a playtime accident. She should make a full recovery but her vet bills have come in at $1695. If you can assist with a donation towards Rosie's costs we'd be very thankful

These 4 puppies were abandoned with their litter mates early and although lucky enough to come into rescue from the pound they have sadly come down with Parvo and are currently fighting for life at the vets. Luckily little Millie and Tina, the sisters, don't seem as badly affected as their brothers who at this stage are on a drip at the vets and we just have our fingers crossed they are strong enough to make it through.

Update 30/4/18: Sadly Toby and Milly didn't make it, thankfully Oscar is recovering well and is home from hospital. He will be ready for adoption in a few weeks when he has fully recovered.
