Mickey, Malcolm

Mickey, Malcolm

DSH - male

Brothers In Need

Mickey was born in the pound and was taken into care with his mum and brothers and sister when he was 2 days old. (His brother, Malcolm is also looking for a new home.) He adores his brother as well as the other cats he lives with. He seems a little shy at first but soon comes around and loves to be patted. He has a loud purr. As he is predominately white, he needs to be protected from the sun so he is more an indoors cat and doesn't wish to roam. He would make a great pet but would prefer a quiet home as he is not used to a noisy household. He has been in care for nearly 1? years.

If you think you can give this gentle boy a forever home, please contact us.

Hollys Pups: Brutus and Ellie

Holly's Pups: Brutus and Ellie

Mastiff x

This mum and bubs were rescued from a country pound and sadly the babies have now all come down with Parvo. This is often a fatal disease in young pups and all 5 are now fighting for their lives at our vet clinic on drips.

Update 21/10/08: Sadly the smallest little puppy didn't make it. The other 4 are still fighting but 3 of them are doing a bit better today so we are hopeful they will pull through

Update 23/10/08: 3 of the puppies are now well enough to go home, unfortunately puppy number 4 is still critical at the vets.

Update 25/10/08: All 4 puppies are now at home with their foster carer and although they still have a tough few days ahead, they are expected to make a full recovery

Update 27/10/08: Sadly the 4th little girl took a turn for the worse today and didn't make it. The remaining 3 are doing well.

Update 15/11/08: All the other 3 puppies are doing well and will go to their new homes at the end of November. We are still seeking sponsorship to cover their large vet bill. If you can help please contact us If you can help sponsor these pups, whose vet bill so far has come to $3000, then please call Megan on 9627 2767 or email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or click below Thank you to Vernon, Rosemary, Matthew, Roger, Lee, Ruth and Paul for their contributions towards these babies vet bills. We still need sponsorship for $1500 worth of vet fees

Cadbury

Cadbury

Palouse Gelding

Mr personality! Cadbury is a quiet, easy to handle pony. He has the potential to become a fantastic all-round pony for an experienced, confident child rider. He would make a great pony club / trail / show pony but is not a beginner's pony as he still needs further education. However, he's working well under saddle with an experienced rider. Cadbury is a good doer and is currently in good condition.

Simeon

Simeon

DSH - male

Simeon is a lovely 18 month old boy who had to have his ears removed as they were showing signs of skin cancer. He is now all clear and is looking for a home. He is best suited to a home where there are no other cats as he tends to torment them when he is bored. He would prefer a home where someone is home quite often as he doesn't cope without attention. He was born deaf so has a loud meow and is very vocal. He also has two odd coloured eyes as a result of being deaf. He is a very sweet boy who is looking for a companion. He would suit older children who would understand he cannot hear. He has been aids and leukemia tested and is all clear.

Lisa

Lisa

Tortie - female

Lisa is a lovely Torti girl who has been waiting for a home for sometime now. She is very cheeky and playful and would love sit be sitting on your lounge with you. She loves to play and also loves a cuddle. She would suit a home with older children and gets on well with other cats and dogs.

Carlo

Carlo

DSH - male

Carlo, after being in foster care for 7 years, will remain with his carer permanently after being diagnosed with Lymphomia. He had localised swelling to the face, enlarged lymph nodes and inflammation to his joints with tenderness to his middle body. After anti-inflammatory shots his joing stiffness has improved and for the moment he seems content just lazing around more than usual. Carlo also has a weakened kidney and requires Hills c/d diet for the duration of his life.

While Carlo is fairly happy and showing no signs of distress or pain then he will remain with his foster carer where he is much loved and very comfortable.

We are seeking sponsorship to help cover Carlo's ongoing food and medical costs.

If you can help then please contact Megan on 9627 2767, email dchanimaladoptions@iprimus.com.au or
